Consulting M&A Weekly Round-up (14th to 20th April, 2024)

Published on April 23, 2024

We are back again with another round-up of consulting M&A news. In the week gone by, we haven’t seen much movement with only a couple of firms making their moves. But like always, we will be covering these in a bit more detail. So without further ado, lets dive into the two deals that took place recently.

#1. Accenture Song boosts CRM with Unlimited deal

Accenture has recently acquired Unlimited, a customer engagement agency, for an undisclosed sum. The addition of Unlimited's 600-member team will bolster Accenture Song's capabilities in the UK, particularly in the realms of behavioral science, customer relevance, and marketing transformation.

Established in 2001, Unlimited specializes in crafting customer engagement strategies to drive enhanced sales conversions. With its headquarters in London and branches in Bristol, Winchester, and Reading, Unlimited boasts a workforce of nearly 600 individuals, spread across its various divisions: TMW, Walnut, Health Unlimited, and Nelson Bostock.

Chris Mellish, CEO of Unlimited Group, expressed excitement about the acquisition, stating, "Joining forces with such an ambitious and forward-thinking strategic entity marks a significant milestone for us. We've discovered a new home where our team and clients alike can continue to flourish within an organization committed to shaping the future of our industry. We're eager to witness the positive impact we can collectively achieve for our clients."

#2. Acclime ramps up UAE presence with local acquisition

Acclime, a professional services firm with a focus on the Asia Pacific region, has officially launched its presence in the UAE with an office in Dubai.

This move reinforces its commitment to the market, as it simultaneously acquires MeiPro Corporate Services, a local entity well-versed in assisting clients with business setup and management in the UAE. MeiPro Corporate Services will now operate under the Acclime brand.

Expressing enthusiasm about this venture, Izzy Silva, Acclime's Chief Executive Officer, remarked, "We are thrilled to embark on our journey in the UAE. This expansion enables us to cater to multinational and regional enterprises seeking to establish and oversee their operations within the UAE."
