On 28 March 2023, the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero announced that £17m of funding will be made available for Phase 4 of the Public Sector Low Carbon Skills Fund, which will be delivered by Salix Finance. The portal opens on April 26th and funding is designed for all eligible public sector bodies to hire expert consultants to create heat decarbonisation plans.
