Seventh Sense Consulting welcomes new head of Corporate Development and embraces a new partnership.

Woodbridge, VA August 8, 2022 Seventh Sense Consulting (SSC) hired William (Bill) Alderson to succeed Shakira (Shak) McCants as EVP, Corporate Development. Mr. Alderson will lead efforts that continue to connect SSC's current capabilities and consulting with industry needs.

We are excited to share that Shakira (Shak) McCants will be branching off to start up her Government contracting firm, MacMore. Shak has served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for the last three years, joining SSC in 2019 and successfully leading the company's growth charge. Over the past three years, she has been able to lead the company in obtaining over 350% revenue growth and winning contracts with 20 new government agencies. In addition, Shak was responsible for the company’s corporate development and building a department from the ground floor. Shak's work with us has genuinely been groundbreaking. While we are sad to see her leave, we are thrilled that we will be able to continue to work with her as a partner.

With Shak's departure, we are happy to announce that effective August 8, William (Bill) Alderson is the new Executive Vice President for Corporate Development for Seventh Sense. Bill is an experienced growth leader in the GovCon space, and we believe he will continue to take our organization to the next level. Bill is a results-driven executive and transformational leader with deep experience leading business development, program delivery, and strategy for the private and public sectors. Bill has led the growth charge and plan for firms such as IntePros Federal, NTT Data Federal Services, and IntelliDyne. While an accomplished growth executive, Bill has been recognized as one of the AFCEA 40 Under 40 recipients in 2020. We believe that our Corporate Development organization is in the right hands with Bill as we move into the future.
