Sustainability

We advise many organizations on how sustainability can be incorporated into procurement. Our procurement experts and contract managers, and our Sustainability Expertise Group, do this with a great deal of intrinsic drive and energy. And we ourselves? “Practice what you preach”: of course we also purchase in a socially responsible manner. We thus contribute to SDG 12 – Sustainable consumption and production. Some practical examples of our more sustainable business operations are our sustainable vehicle fleet (we assume “electric, unless”) and the sustainable procurement of office supplies, gifts and catering.

AevesBenefit has an intrinsic motivation to do business in a socially responsible manner. Our decisions today affect the world today and tomorrow. We invest in the future and conduct business ethically, taking into account the social and economic consequences of our actions. We lead the way and organize projects that make a social difference. We connect: by stimulating labor participation and by focusing on diversity & inclusion. In this way we reduce the distance to the labor market. Our increasing workforce is visibly a reflection of society. Our differences connect us and make us stronger. Together we make even more impact. Corporate social responsibility is part of our DNA and we share this with our sister companies in our Group. In our Group, our efforts are centrally coordinated to maximize the positive impact of our business on people, society and the environment. Our goal: securing our sustainable impact and contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We like to share this with our people, partners and with the world around us.

Inclusion & Diversity

Creating a safe workplace for everyone. We attach great importance to that. The AB&C Group has signed – also on behalf of AevesBenefit – the Diversity Charter of SER Diversity at Work. This underlines our commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We thus contribute to SDG 10 – Reducing inequality within and between countries.

Our workforce is a reflection of society. Our company culture is inclusive: we accept, value and respect the differences and similarities present. Simply because our differences bring us together and make us better. We are aware of differences, but do not focus on them; we create a safe environment where everyone is welcome and can be themselves. Based on this aim, we work together with the Emma at Work Foundation. Emma at Work (once founded from the Emma Children's Hospital) is a foundation that is committed to young people, between 15 and 30 years old, with a chronic physical condition and the desire to get started in a nice position. We are happy to welcome these young people to our organization.
