CHX is a unique consultancy that that has two parts to its business, both linked by our Values and our Clients. CHX exists to help businesses unlock higher levels of performance and at the same time invest in well-being, as well as to raise as much money as possible for a variety of charities through unique mountain challenges.
CHX Performance brings world leading human performance expertise together with one of the most beautiful and challenging environments on earth. CHX Performance runs experiential learning events and seminars/workshops for leadership and management teams, helping them understand optimum human performance based on four pillars - Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep and Environment - that provide the critical foundation for optimum performance at work. Once leadership are inspired, we take the learning to the entire company and see simple but dramatic change take place..
Each programme is tailored so that each individual and team develops exactly according to their needs and desires. The experiential learning takes place in Chamonix or Kent and the workshops, seminars and coaching is delivered either in person or via video conference. The programmes are designed to change your view of yourself and your world, and in turn provide the foundation essential to high energy performance at work and at home. We cascade knowledge through businesses through carefully designed programmes that inspire the entire workforce to want to be better versions of themselves.
CHX Challenge designs and delivers tailored charity fundraising events in the Alps, always on two feet and often combining the CHX Performance programme with a fundraising event. We aim to work with charities of all sizes but often find ourselves helping smaller charities run eye-catching fundraising events that are unique.
Who we are
CHX started life in the mountains where every programme was delivered immersively in an extraordinary environment. But it became clear to us very quickly that our work needed to be done within the environment of work, tackling head on all the issues that people and businesses face on a daily basis. After all, our daily lives are typically not lived out in extraordinary environments, and our environments largely determine our mental health!

Globally, across almost every sector, businesses are facing an existential threat posed by numerous geopolitical and economic factors. But perhaps the biggest threat of all lies in the recent and seismic shift in the relationship between employer and employee. Employees are no longer willing to allow the quality of life and risk of poor mental health to be an acceptable cost for their professional ambition. But, far from being a risk, focusing on the good mental health of our people represents our greatest opportunity.

The science that underpins all CHX programmes is irrefutably robust. The reason we chose this path to meet our clients needs, is because it means that time and time again we are able to win over even the most cynical and entrenched of leadership and management.
Our scientific team is led by Professor Chris Beedie, CHX Co-founder and head of scientific advisory. He is also Affiliate Professor University of Oxford, Honorary Professor University of Kent.
