Built on distinctive ideologies, strong brands succeed through engagement – the totality of the experiences they create for their customers, people, partners and the wider world. They perform with energy and integrity, encouraging participation through consistency of behaviour and experience. Everything they do feels purposeful and true. This sounds so eminently sensible – and yet is so difficult to achieve. It requires a fusion of skills – analytical, commercial, empathetic, imaginative and, most importantly, collaborative.
