Working with us

A Culture Built on Values and Collaboration

Working at Crowe means being part of a firm where voices are heard, ambitions are empowered, and diverse perspectives genuinely shape how we work. Our culture is grounded in four core values — Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship — and these aren't just words on a wall; they guide how we engage with clients, support one another, and show up for our communities. We practice an open-door ethos, where senior leadership remains genuinely approachable at every level of the firm. Collaboration is built into how we operate, whether you're working on a local engagement or a cross-functional team spanning multiple practice areas. Flexibility is part of the picture too: some roles are office- or client-based, others offer remote or hybrid arrangements, and we work to match the environment to what the role and the individual need. We've been recognised on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list, and we believe that recognition reflects what our people experience every day.

Why joining us

Grow Faster, Do More, Be Yourself

Crowe offers experienced professionals and early-career joiners something rare in a firm of our scale: the chance to take real ownership early and make an impact quickly. Our size gives you access to sophisticated, complex work across audit, tax, advisory, and consulting — while our culture keeps things human. You'll find that senior leaders are accessible, internal mobility is actively encouraged, and your development is taken seriously from day one. We are one of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For and a Great Place to Work-certified firm, recognitions that reflect the environment our people help us build. Beyond recognition, we offer a total rewards package designed around your whole life — health, financial wellbeing, flexibility, and giving back — because we know that when our people thrive, our clients do too.

Career path

Structured Progression Across Every Practice Area

Career paths at Crowe are built around both technical depth and leadership development. In our consulting practice, progression typically moves from Associate through Senior Associate, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director, to Principal and Partner — with each stage bringing increased client responsibility, team leadership, and strategic influence. The same structured ladder applies across our audit, tax, and advisory lines. What sets Crowe apart is that advancement is tied to capability and impact, not just tenure. We're committed to helping our people succeed in roles that match their talents, interests, and passions, and we actively invest in mobility across service lines and geographies to help people broaden their experience. Internal opportunity is real here: many of our partners and senior leaders have grown their entire careers within the firm.

Training

Crowe University and Continuous Learning

Learning at Crowe goes well beyond traditional classroom instruction. Through Crowe University, we deliver role-specific learning that is engaging, relevant, and built around how professionals actually develop — combining formal programmes, on-the-job experience, and coaching. From day one, an onboarding programme connects you with the people, resources, and skills you need, introducing you to firm leaders and giving you a clear sense of where you fit. Every person at Crowe meets regularly with a dedicated career coach for meaningful conversations about goals, learning plans, and work-life balance. In addition to structured training, personalised professional development is available through hands-on client experience, mentorship from firm leaders, and access to our nine Business Resource Groups, which serve as forums for networking, support, and peer learning. We also embed inclusion into talent reviews and succession planning, ensuring development is equitable across the firm.

What we are looking for

People Who Share Our Values and Bring Ideas to the Table

We hire people who want to be themselves at work. That means professionals who share our values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship — and who bring genuine curiosity, intellectual rigour, and a desire to make a difference for clients and colleagues alike. We look for people who are bold enough to take initiative and resilient enough to support others when things get complex. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are fundamental across all our practice areas. Industry expertise matters too: our work spans financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, public sector, and more, so specialist knowledge is valued and developed. For students and early-career candidates, we look for ambition, a learning orientation, and the kind of character that fits well in a values-led firm. Whether you're joining from university, a competing firm, or industry, what matters most is that you're ready to grow and contribute.

Recruitment Process

A Straightforward, People-First Process

Our recruitment process is designed to help both you and the firm determine whether we're a good fit for each other. It typically begins with an initial phone screen of around 30 minutes, followed by one or two video or in-person interviews with managers and team members from the area you're applying to. Unlike some consulting firms, our process focuses primarily on behavioural and experience-based questions rather than technical case studies — we want to understand how you think, what you value, and how you've approached challenges in the past. A short written assessment may be included between stages for certain roles. Candidates are also encouraged to visit an office during the process where possible. After your second interview, you can typically expect to receive an offer within a few days. We join a talent network where you can stay connected with opportunities that match your interests and receive updates as your application progresses.

Recognition, Benefits, and What Makes Crowe Different

Crowe has been recognised on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list on multiple occasions, and we are a Great Place to Work-certified employer. We are also a proud recipient of the Handshake Early Talent Award — for the fifth time — reflecting our reputation as one of the best employers for Gen Z talent. Our total rewards package is built around your whole life: health and wellbeing benefits, financial security including competitive compensation and retirement planning, paid time off, and giving benefits including support for volunteering. We have established endowments to fund accounting scholarships at historically Black colleges and universities, and we are committed to supporting diverse suppliers — companies at least 51% owned by minorities, women, veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, or people with disabilities. Crowe LLP is one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in the US, operating as an independent member of Crowe Global — one of the largest accounting networks in the world, spanning more than 130 countries.

Diversity and Inclusion

I Can Be Me at Crowe

Inclusion at Crowe isn't a programme — it's a belief that we achieve more when every person feels they belong and can show up as themselves. Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is embedded into how we hire, develop, and advance our people, and is reflected in our DE&I Transparency Report, which sets out where we are today and where our journey is taking us next. We run nine Business Resource Groups — African American, Asian, Latino, Pride, Young Professionals, Women Leading @ Crowe, Diverse Abilities, Caregivers, and Military, Veterans & Allies — which are open to everyone and serve as active forums for networking, mentoring, and community. Inclusion efforts are embedded into training programmes, talent reviews, and succession planning across the firm. We also participate in the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion coalition — a cross-industry group of over 1,600 organisations committed to advancing racial equity — and our Bold Ambition Council drives DE&I initiatives firmwide. A peer liaison is assigned to every new joiner from day one to help build connections and navigate the firm.
