We recognize the impact companies have on the environment we all live in. DXC has set ambitious targets for reducing our energy consumption, lowering our greenhouse gas emissions and shrinking our IT asset waste.


We also help our customers increase their energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impacts with proprietary technology, such as DXC’s Modernization Studio and DXC Platform X™, as well as next-generation solutions such as cloud computing, desktop virtualization and data center management.


Forward looking climate goals:


DXC has committed to set near-term company-wide emission reductions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Additional targets include reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions 55% by 2025 against a 2019 baseline; reducing electricity consumption 35% by 2025 against a 2019 baseline; and maintaining renewable electricity at current levels. We expect to achieve this target by implementing our Virtual First business model, which enables 99% of DXC’s global workforce to work virtually; continually enhancing the efficiency of our offices and data centers; and using our advanced analytics to improve the efficiency of our IT estate. In FY22, DXC will begin a more in-depth assessment of Scope 3 emissions, with particular focus on emissions related to purchased goods and services in order to better inform future goals.


DXC’s environmental targets form part of our structured management system designed to identify key environmental impacts, measure performance and actively identify opportunities for improvement. This is conducted in accordance with our governance structure that is highlighted in our Environmental, Social and Governance strategy. Our Environmental Policy covers our activities and services worldwide that strive to reduce our impact on the environment.

Employee Development at DXC


At DXC, we invest in the progress of our employees. These investments include:


  • DXC University, our online learning platform, that served some 3.5 million learning hours in 2021 to more than 128,000 of our employees.
  • DXC Onboarding, a web app that helps new employees, their managers and their colleagues worldwide. In 2020, this web app was used by more than 69,000 unique visitors in 73 countries.
  • DXC Technologist Reskilling, a program that has helped more than 31,100 of our employees complete advanced training in next-generation technologies and approaches, including agile development, cloud and virtualization.
  • DXC Global Innovation and Delivery Centers, where our employees work with customers to co-develop innovative solutions to pressing business problems.
  • DXC Technology Awards and DXC Tech Honors, which encourage our employees to engage in innovative thinking, advanced technology expertise and future-ready solutions for our clients.
  • SheLEADS@DXC, a virtual leadership program for women in India that helps build a diverse talent pipeline. SheLeads@DXC enables our rising women leaders to hone their leadership capabilities in areas such as business insights, networking and navigating within the organization, digital dexterity, mindset growth, creating a personal brand, and driving results and change.


DXC India Foundation



The DXC India Foundation aims to improve the social mobility of underrepresented/underprivileged groups by collaborating with nonprofit partners on fostering digital literacy and the learning of new skills, particularly in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Our balanced, integrated approach enables the greatest impact in areas of major importance to DXC, including:


  • Education: Fostering global literacy, with a focus on STEM learning for children from kindergarten to college age
  • Health and wellness: Enhancing people’s health and wellness at a local and global level, with a focus on veterans, people with disabilities, and challenges related to child hunger and poverty
  • Disaster relief: Supporting emergency assistance to those in need, after a disaster or period of crisis or trauma
