Interviews typically take place in our offices, first discussions could take place through visioconference tools.
Given the crucial importance of recruiting, it is handled by an Emerton Partner and interviews are conducted by the firm’s senior members.
Our recruiting process covers a wide range of dimensions: problem solving and strategic thinking abilities, interpersonal skills, fit with Emerton… and is moreover a key opportunity for candidates to get to know our team and our approach to strategy. A candidate will go through approximately 6 interviews, split across 3 to 4 interviews rounds. A decision to continue with the process will be taken at the end of each round and the candidate will receive feedback after each interview rounds. The first introductory round will enable Emerton to understand the candidate’s background and motivations and answer her / his questions. Additionally, the candidate will be asked to complete a digital interview focusing on analytical / numerical skills consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions.
Subsequent rounds will be conducted in two steps: a short discussion and an oral case study.
The last round will consist in a written case study.
Candidates being extended an offer will have the possibility to discuss with other consultants and partners.
