About the company

Pracsys is a multi-disciplinary urban economics and strategy consulting firm with more than 20 years’ experience and representation in Perth and Melbourne. We work with a broad range of State and Local Government agencies and private sector companies to solve unique and challenging problems that shape our collective future. Pracsys has a reputation for employing innovative quantitative analysis, modelling and forecasting techniques in four key areas. These include: • Transformational planning and urban development that advance the growth of cities and regions within Australia, where we work with built environment and place professionals to plan and assess urban economic projects and development; • Economic development, where we assist government clients in facilitating and evaluating economic and employment growth in regions, cities and localities; industry development, land development and economic activation; • Infrastructure investment analysis (including sports infrastructure), where we work with agencies to facilitate knowledge-based business development and employment growth through assessment of major projects in transport, arts, culture and sport. In the last five years we have helped our clients to secure over $2 billion in infrastructure funding. • Economic and social impact assessments to quantify the positive impact of arts, sport and recreation, place improvement, and environmental initiatives.
