We know hiring processes can seem overwhelming! We’ll share some tips to help to get you ready. There is not just one way to be successful at Siemens Advanta, nor is there just one way to interview with us. Just be yourself: every interview is an opportunity for both sides to figure out if you and this role match. We enable big dreams with small steps with impact as our currency. INTERVIEWING


We are a diverse network of experts, and our businesses offer services across Consulting, Solution Design, Implementation and Enablement. Therefore, our recruiting process may differ slightly depending on the roles or teams you are looking to join. However, the same basics apply whether you’re applying for an entry-level, experienced or leadership position. Of course, not all of the below would apply for your role: once your application is accepted for further discussions, our team will guide you through the process. Below are few ways we assess candidates in our hiring process:



  • Short virtual chats: Once we receive your application and feel your profile fits the opportunity's requirements. You’ll typically have one or two shorter conversations over the phone or video. Usually, these calls take place with a recruiter or hiring manager or peer on the team. This is where we discuss your background, assess critical skills you’ll need for the role and tell you more about the opportunity. The team will also answer your questions.


  • Case Studies: You may also be asked to take part in an interview day where we'd run through real case studies. In these case studies, you will have the opportunity to apply your business and analytical skills within real business cases and demonstrate your thought process.


  • Online assessments: During the application process, for technical opportunities, you may be asked to complete a brief online assessment, for instance, a coding challenge or fixing a technical challenge. Such assessments help us understand more about your job-specific knowledge or capabilities


  • Panel interviews: When it comes to interviewing, we’re guided by our goal of creating an equitable and inclusive experience where candidates from a wide variety of backgrounds have an opportunity to succeed. Hence, you may also be interviewed by a panel of diverse assessors for us to evaluate your skills. Overall, we want to assess your skills and see if you and this role are a match.
