About Us

A Consulting Firm Not Like the Others

TOLSON is a Paris-based consulting firm with a decade of experience supporting global and local organisations through digital and organisational transformation. We work across Procurement, Digital Operations, Sustainability and Business Transformation — and we do it differently. Alongside traditional consulting missions, we pioneered a model of inter-company benchmarking communities that harnesses the collective intelligence of over thirty major multinationals. From L'Oréal and Michelin to LVMH, Alstom, Danone and Société Générale, the companies that trust us span industry, services and the public sector. We are members of La French Fab and are proud to be grounded in the conviction that real, lasting progress happens when people come together with a shared vision — and the will to act on it.

Who we are

The People Behind the Progress

We are a young, international and deeply human team — consultants, community animators, facilitators and strategists united by one ambition: to make companies more humane and their teams stronger. Our Managing Director, Thierry de Cassan, founded TOLSON to build trust in collective intelligence and help organisations mobilise around a common vision. Our Head of Operations, Pierre Skapski, brings an engineer's instinct for taking things apart and putting them back together as a team. Our Head of Sustainability and Innovation, Tina Mashreghi, joined to change companies for the better — treating every client like family. Being a TOLSONITE means having strong analytical skills, a genuine passion for people, the courage of your convictions, and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are a small firm geared for growth, and every member of our team has real space to make an impact.

What we do

From Strategy to the Shopfloor — We Deliver Both

We work with the General Management of a company on transformation strategy and love to implement it shoulder-to-shoulder with the teams in the field. Our four areas of expertise are Procurement, Digital Operations, Sustainability and Business Transformation. In Procurement, we help organisations build more strategic purchasing functions — from transformation programmes and digital roadmaps to supplier innovation initiatives and sustainable procurement strategies. In Digital Operations, we guide industrials from defining an Industry 4.0 roadmap to deploying data analytics, digital shopfloor tools, smart automation and connected factory solutions. In Sustainability, we support companies in deploying their CSR roadmaps end to end — raising employee awareness, onboarding suppliers for Scope 3 decarbonisation, and ensuring CSRD compliance. In Business Transformation, we help organisations restructure, merge, set up Shared Service Centres and build high-performing management teams. Alongside every consulting mandate, we animate three exclusive benchmarking communities — VDA for Procurement, Industry 4.co for Manufacturing and SBC for Sustainability — where peers from leading companies meet, share and learn together.

Our Purpose

Progress Together

Everything we do at TOLSON is built around a single, defining conviction: that true progress is collective. We were founded to make companies more humane, to strengthen teams and to help them mobilise around a common vision. Whether we are formalising a strategy at boardroom level or running a workshop on the factory floor, our purpose is the same — to bring people and their points of view together, share knowledge that enriches everyone, and create the conditions for innovation to flourish. Knowledge shared directly between peers, without the filter of a traditional intermediary, is the most powerful engine of transformation we know. That is why we built our communities. That is why we consult the way we do. Progress Together is not a tagline. It is how we work, every day.

Our Values

The Foundation of Our Actions

Three core beliefs guide everything at TOLSON. First, true collaboration is at the heart of agility, innovation, well-being at work and — ultimately — success. Second, employees know what to do when they genuinely understand and buy into the objectives of their organisation. Third, digital solutions should accelerate communication between people, not replace direct human contact. These are not aspirations we hang on walls. They shape how we design every project, how we run every workshop and how we treat every client. We pride ourselves on building safe spaces for free speech, creating mutual trust, and delivering with a smile. Entrepreneurship, impact at all levels — from vision to execution — and a strong sense of team solidarity are the hallmarks of every TOLSONITE.

Why working with us

We're Here For You

We are not a firm that delivers slide decks and moves on. At TOLSON, we are personally invested in every assignment because we care about our clients' success — and we treat our clients like family. Our approach is built on truly understanding your situation, adapting our experience to your specific context, and innovating with you rather than for you. We formalise a clear vision, implement efficiently, stick to objectives and deliver with a smile. We are small enough to be genuinely agile and large enough in knowledge — through our communities of over thirty major multinationals — to bring you unfiltered, real-life intelligence that no traditional consulting firm can match. We work with equal conviction at top management level and on the ground with operational teams, because lasting transformation requires both.

Sustainability

Make CSR a Performance Enabler

At TOLSON, sustainability is not a matter of communication — it is a matter of action. We work with organisations to define and deploy concrete sustainability ambitions, engaging everyone from the Board to operational teams along the way. Our work spans sustainable procurement strategy, Scope 3 upstream emissions mapping, supplier onboarding for decarbonisation, CSRD and CSDDD compliance, double materiality assessments, and change management programmes that shift mindsets as well as practices. We believe that progressing on the key sustainability challenges of the next thirty years requires a holistic approach involving many different stakeholders, and that communities within companies are what ensure results are actually met. That is why we created the Sustainable Business Community — SBC — a peer-to-peer forum where CSR and Sustainability Directors, Managers and cross-functional teams from companies including Hutchinson, Opella, Legrand, Veolia and Pernod Ricard come together to share, learn and advance. Our conviction: companies that do not take sustainability seriously have no future. We are here to make sure yours does.

Community & Impact

Leverage the Collective Intelligence — Progress Together

Communities are not a side offering at TOLSON — they are central to our model and to what makes us genuinely different. We animate three structured inter-company communities built on the simple but powerful belief that peers learn faster from each other than from any external consultant. VDA, our Procurement Community, brings together professionals from more than thirty multinational companies — including Michelin, Airbus, LVMH, Axa and Kingfisher — for around fifty workshops and events each year, covering everything from digital procurement roadmaps to sustainable purchasing maturity. Industry 4.co is our exclusive manufacturing community, where European industrials collaborate to accelerate the deployment of Industry 4.0 in their plants through site visits, best practice sessions, on-demand workshops and our cross-company Digital Factory Awards programme. The Sustainable Business Community — SBC — unites CSR and Sustainability professionals from organisations such as Alstom, Hutchinson, Veolia and Danone to tackle shared challenges and advance their ESG ambitions together. In all three communities, TOLSON structures, facilitates and gives life to exchanges that turn collective intelligence into real competitive advantage.

Awards & Accreditations

Recognising the Journey — The Digital Factory Awards

We believe that transformation deserves to be celebrated. The TOLSON Digital Factory Awards is a cross-company awarding programme designed with global manufacturing companies to recognise and celebrate — both internally and externally — the major achievements of industrial sites in their Industry 4....
