About Whiteshield

We are a global advisory firm known for our ability to respond to global challenges rapidly and incisively. We use the most advanced tools and technology and combine them with our team of leading international experts to engage decision-makers in tackling society’s most significant challenges. We are recognized for our rapid decision support, innovation, data science algorithms, and deep policy expertise. We are specialists in “connecting the dots” between policy, and business and enhancing the lives of citizens.

Our Vision

The idea of establishing a world-class public policy & strategy advisory firm was born on the campus of Harvard University as a result of a partnership between an academic and a venture capitalist. The founders’ vision was to combine the best academic rigour, policy knowledge, and innovation to enhance government policies and performance tangibly. Whiteshield was established thereafter.

Building our vision while growing

Whiteshield’s first offices opened in London and Dublin, with staff from Harvard and OECD communities. From the outset, the firm built its vision on innovation in government, world-class expertise and breakthrough policy models such as the ‘Country Knowledge Mapping (Harvard Business Review 2012), Future of Manufacturing Barometer (Harvard Business Review 2014, World Economic Forum 2014), ‘Whole of Country Navigator’©, ‘Geo-capability mapping’©, and Global Labour Resilience Index ©.

What we do

Helping OECD and transitioning countries

The firm grew rapidly thereafter, helping OECD and transitioning countries identify and leverage their knowledge and innovation potential. In 2013, Whiteshield established four new functional practices covering economic public policy, strategy, technology for policy, and next-generation capabilities to continue supporting its clients globally.
