About Us

Building on Our Past. Ready for the Future.

Founded more than 50 years ago in Australia as a small engineering consultancy, Worley has grown into the world's largest provider of engineering, project and asset management solutions in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. Our growth has been driven by our people and by strategic acquisitions — most notably the addition of Jacobs ECR — that have diversified our capabilities and deepened our global reach. Today, we operate in over 40 countries with more than 40,000 experts who keep projects moving around the clock. From an IPO and transformative mergers to navigating a global financial crisis and a decade of accelerating energy transition, each era has sharpened who we are. We have evolved from an engineering partner into a global solutions provider, combining the hard-won experience of those who built this business with the diverse capabilities of the companies that have joined us along the way. That combination gives our globally connected team the ability to deliver efficiently, cost-effectively and to the highest standards — from concept and FEED, through EPC, all the way to operations, maintenance and decommissioning.

Who we are

A Global Team Delivering Real Impact

We are a professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts — engineers, consultants, strategists, scientists and digital specialists united by a common purpose. With more than 40,000 people across more than 40 countries, we are not a single-discipline firm or a narrowly focused advisor. We are a globally connected community of experts who thrive on complex challenges, long-term partnerships and the ambition to do things better. Our strategy is built around three imperatives: strengthening our leadership in core markets, expanding into growth markets and along the value chain, and innovating to unlock new efficiencies and opportunities. Underpinning all of it are our strategic enablers — global scale and reputation, operational excellence, strong customer relationships, and an ever-deepening investment in technology, digital tools and AI. Whether our customers need full EPC/EPCM delivery, owner's engineering, asset performance optimization or strategic consulting, they have one accountable partner across every stage.

What we do

From Concept to Completion — and Beyond

We deliver engineering, project management and asset management solutions across the full lifecycle of the world's most complex energy, chemicals and resources projects. Our project delivery capabilities span concept studies and front-end engineering design (FEED) through EPC, EPCM, procurement, construction, fabrication, commissioning and into operations, maintenance and decommissioning. Alongside that delivery engine, Worley Consulting provides strategic advice and practical support across planning and investment, capital project execution, asset optimization, digital transformation and environment and sustainability — at every stage of an asset's life. We operate across four core industries: conventional energy, low carbon energy, chemicals and fuels, and resources. Within those sectors we serve everything from offshore and onshore oil and gas, integrated LNG, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, renewables, nuclear and energy storage, to refining, chemicals, sustainable aviation fuel, plastics recycling, mining, battery materials and water. We do not just talk strategy — we deliver on it, integrating AI-enabled tools, ISO 9001-certified management systems and a knowledge ecosystem that connects our global teams and drives cost certainty and schedule predictability on projects of every scale.

Our Purpose

Delivering a More Sustainable World

We are driven by a common purpose: delivering a more sustainable world. That purpose is not a tagline — it shapes every decision we make, every partnership we build and every project we take on. Guided by our strategy and driven by our purpose, we deliver solutions that help customers in traditional, transitional and sustainable sectors to lower emissions, improve resource efficiency and respond to evolving market demands. We see the world's energy transition not as a constraint but as the defining challenge of our time — one that demands the depth of expertise, the scale of operations and the strength of relationships that we have spent more than 50 years building. Decarbonization, energy security, biodiversity protection, water security and climate change mitigation are some of the world's biggest challenges. Asset owners need to be adaptable. We exist to help them do exactly that.

Our Values

The Values That Guide Everything We Do

Our values underpin who we are and everything we do. They guide us toward our purpose and form the framework of our projects, our personal development and the way we recognize each other. We value life — we believe in the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, communities and the environment. Without it, nothing else matters. We rise to the challenge — we love a challenge and go the extra mile, delivering new and better solutions to complex problems. We are stronger together — we thrive in real relationships and partnerships, nurture networks and collaboration, and recognize that our differences make us stronger. We unlock brilliance — we are passionate about innovating and learning, and we value, share and grow our expertise. These four values are not aspirational posters. They are the lived behaviors that shape how our people show up every day, on every project, in every country.

Why working with us

Strategic Advice. Practical Delivery.

Unlike traditional consultancies, our advice goes beyond theory. Our insights are grounded in operational experience, ensuring guidance that is actionable and results-driven. When you work with Worley, you are not just engaging an advisor — you are backed by the full strength of a globally connected team of specialists in over 44 countries, with decades of hands-on delivery experience in energy, chemicals and resources. We combine strategic advisory with the capability to see projects through to completion. From shaping a project's direction to ensuring its successful execution, we provide expertise that delivers outcomes — not just plans. We start with the end in mind to improve cost certainty and schedule predictability, integrating AI-enabled tools, industry-leading systems and data-centric delivery at every stage. Whether you need EPC, EPCM, consulting, owner's engineering, or asset optimization support, you have one accountable partner. And with a presence in over 40 countries and a team that spans every major energy and resources market, we work where it matters most to our customers.

Sustainability

Delivering Sustainable Change

Sustainability is not a separate agenda at Worley — it drives all of our actions, across every stage of the asset lifecycle. Our Climate Change Position Statement is clear: as the world acts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net zero, our role is to help our customers decarbonize the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. We are committed to reaching net zero on our own Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2030, and to Scope 3 by 2050. We aspire to derive 75 percent of our revenue from sustainability-related work by end of FY2026, supported by an initial $100M strategic investment in organic growth across carbon capture and storage, low carbon hydrogen, battery materials and low carbon fuels. We use a double materiality lens — assessing both how ESG issues affect our business and how our work affects people and the planet. We report transparently against global frameworks including GRI, CDP, UN SDGs and TCFD/ISSB, and we have been a signatory to the UN Global Compact for 13 years. We are also developing a plan to support biodiversity and nature positivity across our project work, and helping customers make their assets more resilient to a changing climate.

Community & Impact

Creating Positive Impact in the Communities We Call Home

We recognize that the communities we operate in are not just project locations — they are places where our people live, work and belong. Through the Worley Foundation, we provide a platform for our people to connect with and support local communities to enable positive social or environmental impact. Every project funded by the Foundation is nominated by our own people and involves them actively. In FY2025, we supported 23 projects — 10 continuing as multi-year agreements and eight new partnerships with new charitable organizations. Our community work spans continents: in Colombia, we have been supporting RedInnCol since 2021, helping over 250 students access STEM skills; in Australia, we partner with the Indigenous Australian Engineering School to provide First Nations youth with education and career pathways in engineering and technology. We are equally committed to Indigenous relations beyond Australia — in Canada, we engage early with Indigenous communities, listen to local priorities and work to create opportunities that recognize Traditional knowledge and deep connections to land and water. Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan in Australia outlines concrete steps to build respectful, trusted relationships and improve the social and economic wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Inclusion & Diversity

A Place Where Everyone Belongs

Creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace does not just align with our values — it defines who we are and what we do. We are committed to building a work environment where every person is treated with respect, feels genuinely included and can reach their full potential. In FY2025, 54 percent of our graduate intake were women, 20 percent of our senior leaders are women, and 42 percent of our Group Executive are women — progress we intend to build on further in FY2026 through continued leadership accountability and data-driven decision-making. Our People Network Groups give voice and visibility to underrepresented communities across our workforce. Pride@Worley promotes a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for our LGBTQI+ community and allies. Kuumba empowers and connects our Black employees and supports their professional growth. Women of Worley brings talented professional women together to connect, share skills and champion each other's success. The All Abilities Network advocates for colleagues who are disabled or neurodivergent, shaping more inclusive business decisions from the inside out. Inclusion is embedded in our culture — not as a compliance exercise, but as the foundation of how we work.
