Advice Cloud started as a small idea from our CEO Chris Farthing, who was impressed with the scope and promise of the flagship Crown Commercial Service framework G-Cloud. Having worked on it before as a buyer and realising that many suppliers needed advice on how best to use it, Chris started helping suppliers get listed on the framework on G-Cloud 4 back in 2013. On G-Cloud 5 in 2014, Chris had supported his first three formal clients to get listed on the framework, and in late 2014, Advice Cloud grew into an actual company. Our experienced team includes MCIPS-qualified procurement professionals, former Government CIO/CDO, APMP Bid Professionals, and Sales Professionals who provide proven services for GovTech Suppliers that map against the public sector buying cycle. After the COVID-19 pandemic, our team went fully remote, becoming more flexible and able to re-adjust our teams to best support our clients. We've supported over 510 organisations to effectively use UK Gov technology frameworks.

We've worked on every iteration of G-Cloud since its 5th iteration, making our team the framework specialists and public procurement experts. Our clients have gone on to win nearly £1bn of business through G-Cloud alone, and over £227m in contracts through the DOS framework. On ALL frameworks we've worked on for our clients, we've achieved an average Quality Score above 90%. We provide APMP-qualified professionals who understand the Government Buyer evaluation process and think like Buyers, mirroring their evaluation process to provide impartial review and feedback. Our clients increase their win rates to over 1 in 3 – above industry standards.

Since 2021 we've started our journey to become a Teal based organisation, partnered with amazing organisations such as Stotles and Positive Planet, and took our first steps in becoming Social Value accredited and Carbon Net Zero. We achieved Social Value Quality Mark (SVQM) Level 1 in January 2022. We're working on our B Corp certification and are on our way to becoming certified. We're excited to soon be part of a global business community that aims to balance purpose and profit, committed to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
