Who we are
Creating and delivering sustainable performance
When it was founded in 2001, EPSA was a consulting firm specializing in indirect purchasing and more specifically in the travel industry. Thanks to its numerous successes in purchasing optimization, EPSA has built a reputation in the operational performance support sector. This recognized expertise has enabled Matthieu Gufflet, founder of EPSA, to gain the trust of the largest entities of France’s Stock Exchange, the CAC 40, as well as the public sector, to continue expanding EPSA’s client base. Moreover, these exchanges with all types of companies have led to the expansion of EPSA’s offer to include new solutions for its customers. Our ambition is to become a key performance consulting firm, able to address all the issues that companies of all sizes may face.
Thus, our expertise has gradually diversified thanks to external growth and the integration of companies with specific areas of expertise: IT purchasing, Telecom, HR, IP, supply chain, marketing…
A few years later, in 2015, EPSA succeeded in diversifying its areas of expertise by integrating a BPO (Business Performance Outsourcing) offer, social cost optimization, change management and purchasing outsourcing via its own Marketplace. EPSA is now positioned, both in France and internationally, on all cost centers and expenses of a company and thus strengthens its ability to work on all optimization levers for its customers.
Through a few carefully chosen partnerships and buyouts (such as Experbuy, Enoptea, Saaswedo, Taas and ekodev, among others) EPSA has taken a huge step towards becoming one of France’s new generation of consulting players who seek to integrate digital solutions with their expert know-how to round out their support. This coupling between human expertise and the power of digital technology allows for the transformations necessary for the emergence of real productivity gains, making EPSA a creator and producer of sustainable performance, a true pioneer in the profession.
EPSA’s teams are resolutely customer-oriented and seek performance and efficiency on a daily basis with a “tailor-made” and sustainable approach, adapted to each need and specificity of your organization.
Today, EPSA is taking up a new challenge by including CSR solutions in each of its areas of expertise in order to always offer a solution that is adapted to the challenges of today while anticipating those of tomorrow.

What we do
Our partnerships allow us to enrich our solutions with the best practices of the market, identified through a permanent study of the latest trends. Through a design thinking approach, co-creativity spaces are created in order to find innovative solutions directly adapted to our customers’ needs. Here are some partnerships that allow us to obtain targeted skills.
Our Purpose
Since 2019, EPSA has been able to structure and set the framework for a transformation towards a “responsible” business model, i.e., a contributor to societal issues, while planning for the group’s growth in the coming years.
2022-2026 marks the acceleration of this ambition, with EPSA intending to remain a company focused on garnering people with human values and thus fulfilling the Group’s raison d’être: “To make EPSA a springboard that reveals the particular talents of each individual, through unique professions and by offering a range of opportunities favorable to personal fulfillment and professional accomplishment”.
EPSA for Good brings together under a single banner the social and environmental transformation of our operating model, complemented by the contribution of EPSA Foundation, an endowment fund that acts in favor of the General Interest, and BuyzeWay, the group’s disabled-friendly company, which demonstrates that combining economic performance and social impact can go hand in hand
Why working with us
PROXIMITY
The structure is hierarchically flat, in order to promote proximity with managers and mutual assistance within teams.
DIVERSITY
Employees come from various backgrounds, in terms of degrees, culture, experience, disabilities. This diversity is a real source of richness thanks to the sharing of different points of view which enrich the dialogues and the answers given to a problem.
A GOOD MOOD
We believe that working in a positive atmosphere is essential for improving productivity and strengthening synergies between teams. This enthusiasm makes it easier to manage change for our clients. We even sometimes make jokes. And it so happens that they can be funny.
CUSTOMER SENSE
We maintain a culture of “tailor-made” support to ensure the lasting success of our missions. The success of a mission depends, above all, on the search for excellence.
HUMILITY
At EPSA, when you master a subject, you do not necessarily become a “superhero” … but we support juniors in their skills development.
Community & Impact
Social Impact
EPSA is committed to diversity and inclusion through the promotion of gender equality, opportunities for people with disabilities and combating all other forms of discrimination. We aim to ensure that these ethical views become part of our corporate culture, guaranteeing a profound respect for each profession and each sector of activity. This principle is applied right from the recruitment stage, with awareness-raising among the teams concerned, and extends to the career management of each employee.
Environmental impact
Since the summer of 2019, EPSA has been committed to measuring and reducing its environmental footprint and has promoted environmental consciousness among all its employees. After a carbon footprint assessment carried out at the end of 2019, EPSA carries the ambition of a more sober carbon operating model to thus mitigate the consequences of our actions on climate change. The group is deeply committed to accelerating change and engaging its stakeholders in around this goal.
Governance
EPSA’s CSR policy is based on its membership to the United Nations Global Compact and includes respect for human rights, working conditions and the fight against corruption, as well as a commitment to a responsible supplier-customer relationship at the highest level of governance. This commitment to sustainable governance is now reflected in the implementation of binding policies and charters. It also represents, beyond these structuring actions, the commitment of our financial partners such as the entry into our capital of RAISE in 2019.
