Milliman is committed to becoming net zero by 2040 — a commitment formally approved by our Board of Directors in 2022 and verified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in June 2023. Our near-term target is to reduce absolute scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 46.2% by 2030 from a 2019 base year, with a long-term target of 90% reduction by 2040.
