Working with us

A Collective Built on Proximity and Shared Passion

We are a community of people who are genuinely excited by projects — by the challenge of starting from nothing and delivering something that matters. That enthusiasm is what binds us and makes Orlade a genuinely different place to work. From the moment a contract is signed, integration begins: you will always find someone to talk to, a colleague ready to support, a mentor to guide your first steps. We believe in closeness — between consultants, between leadership and the teams, and between the firm and its missions. Alongside that proximity, every consultant contributes to our collective intelligence: sharing experiences, building on each other's know-how, and feeding a living neural network of over 1,000 years of combined expertise. Joining Orlade means becoming part of a community that grows together.

Why joining us

Autonomy, Impact and an Entrepreneurial Spirit

We choose the kind of work that gives your career real meaning. Our missions sit at the heart of major industrial, societal and environmental challenges — the projects that are literally building tomorrow's world. You will have significant autonomy to create, innovate, federate and develop: our reporting culture is intentionally light, designed to leave room for initiative rather than constraint. Whether you are a consultant or a freelancer, we share an entrepreneurial DNA and a genuine desire to win — and the only limits to your growth are the ones you set yourself. International mobility is also within reach across our six countries of presence. If the idea of working on projects with a real positive impact resonates with you, you will feel at home here.

Career path

Growth Driven by Mission Mobility

At Orlade, career development is not a one-size-fits-all ladder — it is a continuous path shaped by the mobility of skills and missions. Each assignment is an opportunity to develop new expertise, step into new sectors, and extend your reach across industries and geographies. Career progressions are regular and actively supported by our Talent support system, which tracks each consultant's development and identifies the next best step. From consultant to Engagement Leader, growth is earned through meaningful work and supported by structured guidance. The diversity of our client portfolio — spanning automotive, aerospace, energy, health, telecommunications and beyond — means that no two career paths look the same, and that is exactly as it should be.

Training

Learning Through the Neural Network

Learning at Orlade is embedded in how we work, not bolted on as an afterthought. Our neural network is central to this: around key subjects, we bring consultants together to share knowledge accumulated on the ground, turning individual field expertise into shared collective intelligence available to the whole community. This dynamic is sustained by an internal training plan covering all employees, alongside a mentoring system that provides individualised support throughout each consultant's journey. We also invest in innovation as a discipline — running Proofs of Concept internally and in partnership with clients, and staying attentive to new tools and practices that shape the future of project management. Our consultants regularly speak at leading engineering schools, including Ecole Centrale – Supélec, contributing to the next generation of project professionals.

What we are looking for

Project Enthusiasts with an Entrepreneurial and Responsible Mindset

We are looking for people who are genuinely passionate about big, complex projects — not just technically, but in the deepest sense: the thrill of transforming a blank page into a delivered reality. You should be committed to environmental and societal issues, because our purpose is to be the metronome of projects with a positive impact, and that commitment must live in the people who carry it out. We welcome Generation X, Y and Z equally — what we care about is your drive, your uniqueness, and your desire to contribute to a collective that is building something bigger than any one individual. Whether you come from a large industrial background, a startup, or an academic institution, if you share our culture of challenge, we want to meet you.

Good to know

200 Consultants, 6 Countries, One Community

Orlade brings together around 200 employees with an average age of 33, carrying over 1,000 years of cumulative field experience across the group. We are present in France (Paris and Bordeaux), Switzerland (Lausanne), Australia (Sydney), Morocco (Casablanca), Hong Kong and Canada (Montréal) — and our international footprint continues to grow. Abroad turnover already represents 30% of our activity, reflecting the genuinely cross-border nature of our work. Alongside our permanent team, we maintain a valued and trusted network of independent consultants who are an integral part of our ecosystem, contributing regularly to our missions and our collective intelligence. Job opportunities are published on Welcome to the Jungle, where you can also read first-hand accounts from current team members.

Diversity and Inclusion

People at the Centre, Society as Our Horizon

People are at the centre of our approach — not as a statement, but as an operating principle. We encourage every member of our community to get involved in building a society we can be proud of, and we provide the tools, skills and time to make that possible. Our CSR charter, sponsored by management, formalises our commitments: an internal training plan for all employees, a mentoring system for individualised support, and concrete actions to reduce our carbon footprint. Our manifesto commits us to designing and implementing extraordinary projects for the world of tomorrow, alongside our employees, freelancers and clients. We believe that meaningful work and genuine social responsibility go hand in hand — and we actively work to ensure that both are present in everything we do.
