About Us

About the company

We’re a specialist, independent management consultancy, focusing on; Customer Experience, Operational Excellence and Change Delivery, dedicated to helping our clients create real, positive change. PEN was established in 2012 with a mission to challenge the traditional approach to consulting. Since then our team of specialists have worked across a range of sectors – from Financial Services and Pharmaceuticals, to Retail and Consumer Goods – helping clients solve problems that improve customer experience, operational excellence and change delivery. We take pride in doing what’s right for our clients – not in how many hours we can bill them – and we only ever undertake work where we’re certain we can deliver a great outcome. We are confident about what we can do, and we’re honest about what we can’t. Our priority is delivering excellent client outcomes and if we ever feel unqualified to help, we’ll always politely decline the work.

Who we are

PEN was established in 2012 with a mission to challenge the traditional approach to consulting.

We’re problem-solvers driven by the desire to help all our clients create real, positive change – whether they’re organisations, charities or individuals.

What we do

Our team of specialists has worked across various sectors – from Financial Services and Pharmaceuticals to Retail and Consumer Goods – helping clients solve problems that improve customer experience, operational excellence, and change delivery.

Our Values

We don’t make presumptions or assume to know what’s best for our clients. We get to the heart of what they want by really listening to them and working as a team from start to finish.

We value action over words, working collaboratively with clients toward a shared goal.

We’re a team in the truest sense: we support, encourage and motivate each other, while enjoying ourselves and having a good time.

Why working with us

We provide each client with a dynamic and personable team equipped with in-depth specialist knowledge.

Our approach is tailored to each individual client we’ll never provide ‘off the shelf’ advice.

We’re interested in maximum impact, not billable hours. We’ll always look for the most effective route to solve a client’s particular problem.

We’ve built trust and loyalty in existing clients. This is demonstrated through the ongoing relationships we enjoy and the word-of-mouth recommendations we receive.

We are confident about what we can do, and we’re honest about what we can’t. Our priority is delivering excellent client outcomes – if we ever feel unqualified to help, we’ll always politely decline the work.

Sustainability

We take responsibility for our impact on the environment. By partnering with C-Level we balance our carbon footprint and support international protection and re-forestation projects in Nicaragua and Tanzania.

Closer to home and through C-Level’s Wild Aligned programme we are supporting a regenerative project in its early stages – Children’s Forest.

Community & Impact

PEN Trust was set up in 2016 to support causes of public interest, with a particular focus on charities that can make advancements in education and help young people in need.

We are a grant-giving trust, funded by a proportion of the revenues of PEN Partnership, an independent management consultancy, who believe passionately that the business should achieve charitable goals along with its core business objectives.

We work closely with a small number of partner charities as well as other charities and organisations of public interest on a periodic basis, as agreed within the trustee group.
