About Us

We Transform Together

Founded in 1946 and operating for more than 80 years, Turner & Townsend is a global programme manager with over 23,000 people across 64 countries and 247 offices. We deliver some of the world's most ambitious projects and portfolios — from metro systems and offshore wind farms to data centres, world expositions and iconic towers — generating £5.76 billion in gross revenue and touching more than 30,000 projects across 19 sectors. Through our integration with CBRE, we are the only partner capable of supporting clients across the entire asset lifecycle: from land acquisition and development through to asset management and long-term operation. Wherever our clients need us, we bring the local knowledge, global capability and outcome-led thinking to raise the standard of how projects are set up and delivered.

Who we are

We Push Boundaries Together

We are a people business, and our people are the very best. More than 23,000 skilled problem solvers, innovators and critical thinkers — representing 115 nationalities — bring deep expertise, creativity and drive to every task. Our leadership team embodies the values, high standards and innovative spirit that have defined Turner & Townsend from the start, guiding the business and ensuring we deliver exceptional outcomes. Together, we work as a true extension of our clients' teams, combining ingenuity with discipline to turn the most ambitious ideas into reality. Whether shaping resilient cities, advancing the clean energy transition or delivering essential infrastructure, we approach every challenge with a single goal: to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

What we do

We Make It Possible Together

We plan, manage and deliver complex projects and portfolios across real estate, infrastructure, and energy and natural resources. Our integrated capability spans the full delivery lifecycle — starting well with advisory experts who define the strategy, delivery models and governance that set the direction; structuring right with commercial specialists who protect value, manage risk and build high-performing supply chains; and delivering with precision through experienced delivery teams who keep programmes moving, costs in check and outcomes predictable. Our services include project management, construction management, cost and commercial management, programme advisory, controls and performance, procurement and supply chain, asset and building consultancy, digital, and sustainability. We operate across 19 sectors — from aviation, clean energy and data centres to healthcare, rail transit and tall and iconic buildings — partnering closely with clients from ambition through delivery to long-term operation.

Our Purpose

Transforming Performance for a Better World

We are committed to transforming performance for a greener, more inclusive and more productive world. The projects and portfolios we work on shape lives, communities and economies for generations — and that responsibility matters deeply to us. To maximise our impact, we work in genuine partnership with our clients, combining local expertise, global capability and outcome-led thinking to raise the standard of how projects are set up and delivered. We take our wider responsibilities seriously too. That means actively building an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive, working towards a low-carbon future, and partnering with communities to open up opportunities and help people when they need it most.

Our Values

Living by Our Values

Our values guide how we work together, treat each other and build trusted relationships with our clients. We love a challenge — we thrive on difficulty, stay proactive and always push ourselves and others to raise the bar, never shying away from what is hard. We are stronger together — our best work happens through genuine collaboration, building diverse teams and combining our strengths to deliver outcomes that none of us could achieve alone. And we are committed to bringing out the best — in each other and in every project we touch, creating an environment built on care, respect and genuine listening where everyone has something important to offer.

Why working with us

Here's Why Clients Choose Us

What sets Turner & Townsend apart is the combination of things that truly make the difference on complex programmes. Our people are the very best at what they do — skilled, dedicated and innovative, working alongside clients as a true extension of their team. Our depth of project performance data, accumulated across tens of thousands of projects in every major market and sector, enables performance baselines to be objectively set and outperformed. At the centre of our technology strategy is The Hive, our digital platform that connects tools, data, methodologies and reporting in one system — processing millions of data points each day to give teams one of the clearest pictures of performance and change in the industry. With over 23,000 people across 64 countries, we deliver deep local knowledge backed by proven global approaches, meaning fewer surprises, stronger decisions and better outcomes. And through our integration with CBRE, we are the only partner that can support clients across the entire asset lifecycle — from early planning through to handover and long-term operation.

Sustainability

Taking Responsibility for a Low-Carbon Future

We are integrating sustainability into every part of our business as we transition into a low-carbon economy. Our ambition is clear: to improve the environmental management of our own operations while using our expertise to find relevant solutions for our clients across every sector. We have published an inaugural Climate and Environmental Impact Report — a dedicated document that sets out our greenhouse gas emissions inventory, associated metrics and our annual Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures climate risk assessment — as part of our commitment to transparent sustainability governance and reporting. We have achieved EcoVadis silver status and are working towards 100% renewables as our target for cutting emissions across the business and supply chain. From school mentoring programmes exploring carbon-neutral solutions to supporting the global energy transition across clean energy, transmission and offshore wind projects, sustainability is not a side commitment — it is woven into everything we do.

Community & Impact

Putting Communities First

Inequality is a major global challenge, and our industry must be at the forefront of building a more equitable world. Our people gave 73,378 hours of volunteering time to causes that matter, and our corporate giving and employee efforts raised £1.67 million to support communities worldwide. Our Making the Difference Fund — financed solely by our business — scales up that support further, backing projects that create long-term, positive change: from giving access to education and careers to supporting communities after disasters and driving new ideas that move our industry forward. Partners such as Barefoot College International and the Construction Youth Trust reflect our commitment to opening doors for people who need them most. We also invest in programmes that support career mentorship for emerging professionals and Indigenous enterprise development, building long-term partnerships with businesses and collaborating on community-led initiatives across Australia, Canada, New Zealand and beyond.

Inclusion & Diversity

Inclusive Pathways, Stronger Together

We don't just welcome diverse talent — we actively seek it out. Our workforce represents 115 nationalities, and we are working towards greater gender balance across our teams, with 36% female representation and published gender pay gap reports across the UK, Ireland, France, Australia and Brazil. We set global standards for safety, wellbeing and trust, and take a range of steps to ensure everyone can be themselves — because when people have a voice that is genuinely listened to, we bring out the best in everyone. We have created structured pathways for career returners, military veterans and service leavers, and Indigenous peoples — including bursaries, apprenticeships, cadetships and mentoring programmes. Our Veteran Community Network of 200 members provides a soft landing to civilian employment, and our Reconciliation Action Plans set out the concrete steps we are taking to build stronger relationships with Indigenous communities. From early careers to experienced hires, we believe that building diverse teams is how we deliver outcomes that none of us could achieve alone.
