About Us

A Global Leader in Business and Technology Transformation

We are a global leader in partnering with companies to transform and manage their business by harnessing the power of technology. Founded in 1967 by Serge Kampf in Grenoble, France, we have spent nearly six decades building deep expertise across strategy, design, engineering, and operations — serving clients in over 50 countries with a team of more than 350,000 professionals worldwide. We work with 85% of the 200 largest public companies on the Forbes Global 2000 list, combining sector-specific knowledge with cutting-edge capabilities in cloud, data, artificial intelligence, connectivity, software, digital engineering, and platforms. Our integrated services span the full breadth of business needs — from visionary strategy to day-to-day operations — enabling clients to navigate today's challenges while plotting a course for tomorrow. Guided by our purpose of unleashing human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future, we are driven to create value that is good for our clients, our people, and the world. With revenues exceeding €22 billion and a heritage of trusted partnerships, we remain committed to making technology work for everyone.

Who we are

A Diverse Collective of Free-Thinkers, Entrepreneurs and Experts

We are a responsible and diverse organization, guided every day by seven core values — Honesty, Boldness, Trust, Freedom, Fun, Modesty, and Team Spirit. These values, instilled by our founder Serge Kampf, are the bedrock of our culture and the reason we have been named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® for 13 consecutive years by the Ethisphere Institute. Our people are our greatest strength. Spanning more than 50 countries, we are a community of experts, innovators, and problem-solvers who bring together the creativity of a design studio, the rigour of a consultancy, and the scale of a global technology company. We believe that business value of technology comes from and through people — and that an inclusive, empowered workforce is the foundation of every successful transformation.

What we do

End-to-End Transformation — From Strategy to Operations

We apply a breadth of expertise to address the full range of business needs across four areas: Strategy and Transformation, Applications and Technology, Engineering, and Operations. We focus on helping drive value in three key playing fields: Customer First, Intelligent Industry, and Enterprise Management — underpinned by cloud, data, and AI, and anchored in cybersecurity and sustainable development. From applying data science and creative design to provide strategy and innovation consulting, to developing and modernizing IT environments, to engineering intelligent products at scale, and to delivering operational excellence through business process transformation — we accompany our clients at every stage of their journey.

Our Purpose

Unleashing Human Energy Through Technology

Our purpose is to unleash human energy through technology for an inclusive and sustainable future. Everything we do — from the solutions we design to the partnerships we build — is grounded in this conviction. We believe technology, when placed in service of people, has the power to address the world's most pressing challenges and create meaningful, lasting value for enterprises, individuals, and society alike.

Our Values

The Seven Values That Define Us

At the heart of Capgemini are seven Values established by our founder: Honesty, Boldness, Trust, Freedom, Fun, Modesty, and Team Spirit. These are not aspirational statements — they are the daily reality of how we work together and with our clients. They foster an ethical culture that makes us an employer of choice and a responsible partner for the communities and industries we serve.

Why working with us

Why Capgemini: Scale, Sector Depth, and an Inventive Spirit

We bring together the strategic depth of a management consultancy, the engineering excellence of a technology firm, and the creative power of a design studio — all within a single, globally integrated organization. Our Capgemini Invent brand combines strategy, technology, data science, and creative design to help clients envision and build what's next, while our Engineering practice leads in R&D services and our Cloud and Data capabilities underpin every transformation. With over 55 years of heritage, partnerships with the world's leading hyperscalers, deep industry expertise across 16 sectors, and a global network of Applied Innovation Exchanges, we offer clients a proven combination of scale and intimacy. We work with 85% of the world's largest companies — not because we are the biggest, but because we consistently deliver The Future You Want.

Sustainability

Leading the Way to Positive Futures

Sustainability is not a side initiative at Capgemini — it is embedded in our corporate strategy and every client engagement. Our ESG Policy (2025–2030) is built around nine material priorities, including acting on climate change with a commitment to become a net zero business by 2040, leading to a sustainable economy by helping clients achieve their own sustainability goals, and supporting digital inclusion to reach 10 million underserved beneficiaries by 2030. We have retained our Platinum Medal from EcoVadis, maintained our position on CDP's 'A List' for climate change, and committed to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact since 2004. Our work supports 11 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Community & Impact

Technology for Society: Digital Inclusion and Community Impact

We believe technology should benefit everyone. Through programmes such as Digital Academy, Digital Citizenship, and Tech4Positive Futures, we work to bridge the digital divide and provide digital skills to marginalised youth. Our target is to impact 10 million beneficiaries by 2030 through digital inclusion initiatives measured by the B4SI impact framework. As a founding member of the World Economic Forum's Partnering for Racial Justice in Business initiative, we are committed to building an equitable environment and promoting representation of minorities across our global operations and the wider communities in which we operate.

Inclusion & Diversity

Inclusion for All: Building a Workplace Where Everyone Belongs

Inclusion is central to who we are. Capgemini is the only organisation in the technology industry to hold both EDGEplus and EDGE Move certifications at a global level — a testament to our leadership in gender equality and intersectional equity. We have set targets of 40% women in our total workforce and 30% in executive leadership positions, and have grown female representation by 6 percentage points since 2019 to reach 38.8%. Beyond gender, we actively support our LGBT+ colleagues through our global OUTfront Network, have been recognised as a Gold Top LGBT+ Inclusive Employer in the Stonewall Global Workplace Equality Index, and operate Inclusion Circles — a global movement that has engaged over 26,000 employees in open conversations about unconscious bias, diversity, and building truly inclusive workplaces.
