Working with us

Show the World What People Want

We are the world's largest consumer intelligence company, operating in over 95 countries and covering 97% of global GDP. What that means in practice is that when you join us, you are joining a team that shapes the intelligence behind some of the most consequential business decisions on the planet. Our work spans consumer packaged goods, retail, media, technology, and financial services — and our clients range from global Fortune 500 companies to fast-growing local brands. We combine proprietary data assets, advanced analytics, and AI-driven platforms to reveal what consumers actually buy, why, and what that means for growth. The mission is clear: turn aspiration into reality for our clients and our people.

Why joining us

A Place to Be Yourself, Make a Difference, and Grow

We have been consistently recognised as a top-rated employer — by Glassdoor, by Forbes (ranked #2 Best Employer for Diversity), by the Human Rights Campaign (100% on the Corporate Equality Index), and by the Disability Equality Index (90% score). These are not one-off distinctions; they reflect how seriously we take inclusion as a business priority. Our people tell their own stories, and we listen. The Bravo! recognition platform ensures that living our principles — being client-obsessed, accountable, driven, honest, and fast to adapt — is noticed and celebrated in real time. Beyond recognition, we invest in continuous learning at every level, and our performance reviews are explicitly tied to how we show up for each other and for clients.

Career path

Pathways Across Every Part of the Business

We hire across a wide range of disciplines: analytics, data science, client service and sales, technology and engineering, product, marketing, finance, legal, human resources, and operations. Our teams are organised around the capabilities that matter most to our clients — market measurement, consumer behaviour and insights, brand and media, innovation, and analytics activation. Within each, there are clear progression tracks from entry-level and associate roles through to director and executive positions, with real exposure to client-facing work from day one. The size and global reach of our business means that lateral moves across geographies and teams are genuinely possible and actively encouraged.

Training

Built to Develop People from Day One

NIQ University is our flagship early-career programme: a 12-week data insights and sales track designed to give students direct exposure to how the world's leading CPG and retail brands make decisions. Participants work on real client briefs, compete in business case challenges, and build relationships with industry managers and HR associates through structured resume reviews and networking sessions. Beyond NIQ University, development is continuous — our mid-year and year-end performance reviews are structured around our company Principles, and our global learning programmes provide regular opportunities to build skills, collaborate across teams, and grow into new responsibilities.

What we are looking for

Five Principles, One Standard

We look for people who genuinely live our five company Principles. Client Obsessed: you put the client's success at the centre of your thinking, act with urgency, and never stop looking for ways to differentiate. Accountable for Results: you own your work, break down silos, and turn plans into outcomes. Committed to Integrity: you treat people with dignity, speak courageously, and stand up for what is right. Driven to Win: you take pride in being excellent, push through obstacles with resilience, and help others do the same. Fast to Adapt: you embrace change, lean into AI and new tools, upskill continuously, and share what you learn. Beyond these, we value curiosity, strong communication skills, comfort with data and analytical thinking, and alignment with a global, inclusive culture.

Good to know

A Global Platform with a Human Scale

With 30,000 colleagues across 95+ countries, NIQ is large enough to offer genuine global mobility and career breadth — but our recognition culture, team structures, and coaching programmes make it feel far more personal than the headcount suggests. Our Bravo! platform gives anyone in the business the ability to recognise a colleague in real time for living our Principles. NIQ University scholars who complete the programme receive a certificate of training and a stipend of up to $400, with the top performers invited to interview for internships and roles in Chicago, New York, Parsippany, and beyond. We are also independently accredited as a menopause-friendly employer and hold a DE&I Maturity Benchmark Level 5 Inclusion rating.

Diversity and Inclusion

Inclusion Is How We Compete

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in how we hire, develop, and promote — not bolted on as a programme. We have earned a 100% score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, been named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality for multiple consecutive years, and achieved a 90% score on the Disability Equality Index for three consecutive years. We are ranked #2 on Forbes' Best Employers for Diversity list and named to the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers list. Our three-pillar DE&I framework covers talent, culture, and accountability — each measured and reported. Employee Resource Groups are a core part of how we build community across our global workforce, recognised with a #12 ranking on the DiversityInc Top 50 specialty list.
