Working with us

A Career That Moves You

For nearly 200 years, we have been helping organisations in over 140 countries and markets make confident decisions about their people, risk and capital. Powered by data-driven insights and deep industry expertise, we deliver solutions that help our clients become more resilient, inspire their people, and unlock performance. Working at WTW means being part of that difference — collaborating across four key business areas (Risk & Broking, Health Wealth & Career, Corporate Functions, and Operations & Technology) to provide clients with a world-leading range of services and support. Whether you are working directly with clients or innovating with colleagues across the globe, your unique perspective will be valued and your strengths will be built upon.

Why joining us

Belong, Grow, and Make an Impact

At WTW, you will find purposeful work, supportive colleagues, and a global business full of possibilities to explore. Our values — client focus, teamwork, integrity, respect, and excellence — are not just words on a wall. They inform how we work together, create our unique culture, and empower us to achieve the best possible results for one another and for our clients. When you get one of us, you get all of us: we work across boundaries to help each other succeed and create more value together. Our commitment to professional development and personal growth means you will keep learning, keep growing, and continue to find new ways to make an impact — for our clients and for the communities in which we operate.

Career path

A World of Opportunity to Discover

WTW offers structured career paths for both early career starters and experienced professionals across four business areas. For early career candidates, we offer internships, apprenticeships (including Level 3 and Level 4 programmes in the UK), and graduate programmes — all offering real project experience and a permanent footing from day one. For experienced professionals, career tracks span Risk & Broking (insurance, reinsurance, risk advisory), Health, Wealth & Career (benefits, retirement, total rewards, talent), Corporate Functions (finance, legal, HR, communications), and Operations & Technology. With colleagues across 140+ countries and the genuine ability to explore multiple career paths without leaving WTW, progression here is limited only by curiosity and ambition.

Training

Curiosity Is the Key to Growth

Learning at WTW is woven into the work itself — you will develop every day through engaging client work, collaboration with expert colleagues, and access to a rich ecosystem of formal development tools. These include on-demand online modules with interactive exercises and toolkits, customised internal portals and eLearning courses for on-the-job learning, mentoring and coaching platforms, and instructor-led programmes for managers and leaders. Beyond these shared resources, training is tailored to your individual role and business area — including technical skills training and professional certification programmes relevant to your specialism. For early career colleagues, apprenticeship and graduate programmes include structured study support and a dedicated onboarding journey from day one.

What we are looking for

Authentic, Curious, and Bold

We look for three things above all: authenticity, curiosity, and boldness. We want people who bring their own point of view — because different perspectives make our culture stronger and our work more effective. We want those who ask questions, explore opportunities, and keep growing. And we want people who are ready to step forward, tackle real problems, craft innovative solutions, and dig deeper to find better answers. Whichever programme or pathway you join, we will want to hear your ideas, understand what drives you, and see how your skills and experience can contribute to the work we do for clients around the world. The more specific and authentic you are in showing us who you are, the better.

Recruitment Process

What to Expect When You Apply

The process begins with an online application form on our careers website — straightforward and designed to help us learn a little more about you. For early career roles, this is followed by a HireVue video assessment: an objective tool that helps us match you to the right programme and ensures a fair opportunity for all candidates. The next step — depending on your location and role — is either an assessment centre or an interview with our team. This is your chance to meet our people, ask questions, and showcase what makes you a great fit. If successful, we will make you an offer and begin the onboarding process. Throughout every stage, we are committed to equal employment opportunity and will provide adjustments and accommodations to any applicant who needs them. Note that WTW will only ever contact you from a verified WTW email address and will never request payment at any stage of the process.

Good to know

Flexibility, Global Reach, and a Community to Join

With colleagues working in offices and remotely across 140+ countries — from Manila and Mumbai to New York and London — WTW offers genuine geographic flexibility and career mobility at real scale. Our Work Styles framework makes this concrete: flexible, remote, hybrid, and in-office arrangements are all available depending on role, and we encourage candidates to discuss their preferences during the recruitment process. Benefits vary by country and will be shared during the application process, but consistently include competitive compensation, professional development support, and access to our seven colleague inclusion networks, which are open to all and play a central role in shaping our culture. You can also join our Talent Community to receive updates about roles matching your skills and interests.

Diversity and Inclusion

An Inclusive Culture Where Everyone Belongs

Every day we strive to foster an inclusive culture where our colleagues are heard, respected, and free to be their authentic selves — because embracing different perspectives and talents leads to smarter, more creative answers for our clients. Our approach to inclusion is built on three pillars: Belong (promoting an inclusive culture and work environment), Join (building the talent pipeline), and Grow (developing a leadership pipeline with broad backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives). Seven colleague inclusion networks — open to all WTW colleagues globally — play a key role in shaping our culture, from Gender to LGBTQ+ to Multicultural communities. Inclusion is not a programme here — it is part of how we work.
